Abstract

In order to solve the engineering application problem of semi-active suspension, a lateral semi-active suspension model for high-speed railway vehicle is established, and a test and control system of lateral semi-active suspension to the model is developed. Adopting self-tuning control method, the experiment of non-controlled and controlled are implemented. The comparing results indicate that the stationarity and the maximum of acceleration of vehicle body are improved in different speed grades through the semi-active suspension control. Comparing with passive control, the improving rate of the lateral and vertical stationarity are 43% and 31% separately and the average attenuation rate of max lateral acceleration and max rolling acceleration are 71% and 64% separately by using the semi-active control. The test shows that the semi-active control method is effective.
