Abstract

The effectiveness of repetitive control systems is widely known. However, in many cases, the unstable control plants are supposed to be stabilized beforehand, and then use the repetitive controller to construct the total system. When constructing a repetitive control system with a stabilized control target, how to guarantee the stability of the whole system is also a difficult research problem. The purpose of this paper is to clarify that even for a stabilized control plant, the stability of the control system with a repetitive controller is not guaranteed even for a simple case, and to analytically clarify the stability range with the repetitive controller for the simple case. In addition, the effect of p (the number of time steps per period) on stability have been also examined.
