Abstract
Gastric involvement in Crohn's disease was considered rare,1 but a higher incidence has been reported both in adult2-4 and pediatric patients5-7 during the past decade. The lesions are usually located in the antrum,2-6 mainly subtle and nonspecific redness or erosions, and are indistinguishable from the more commonly encountered varioliform gastritis.8 Gastric body lesions, by comparison, are believed to be uncommon.2,4-6,8,9 Only two studies found relatively high incidences, but neither described any characteristic lesions.
