Abstract

A novel 5.8 GHz band-notched wideband balanced bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed in this paper, which obtains favorable uniform differential-mode (DM) response and good common-mode suppression. The proposed differential-mode BPF is comprised of a four-stage branch-line structure with one pair of open-circuited stubs in the symmetrical plane. Two coupled SIRs are employed to generate one desired notched band. The predicted results are compared with measured data and good agreement is achieved.
