Abstract
Trough this article to show tht during the sanitary crisis in Peru caused by COVID-19, Indigenous people have played a key role to reduce the health impact resulting from the delayed govermmental response. In resposne to a govermment that continues to ignore and invisibilize Indigenous peoples, this group is using their knowledge and medicine as well other strategies, I will describe in the articule, to face the presence of COVID-19 in their territories.
