Abstract

A 53-year-old woman with vitiligo presented with a 6-month history of an enlarging, nonpainful nodule on her left forearm and 3 smaller nodules on her left hand and knee. Although she was evaluated 1 month earlier for dyspnea on exertion, attributed to deconditioning (negative stress test and normal chest radiographs), she currently denied shortness of breath, cough, fever, and chest pain. No recent travel history was elicited. The physical examination revealed a 13- × 4-cm firm, somewhat mobile, subcutaneous linear plaque spanning the length of the left extensor forearm (Fig 4).
