Abstract

A 49-year-old emergency nurse presented to her place of work with a 3-day history of right-sided ear pain, rhinorrhea, nausea, vomiting, and diffuse right-sided headache. Her triage vital signs were as follows: oral temperature, 37.1°C (98.8°F); heart rate, 88 beats per minute; blood pressure, 139/77 mm Hg; and room air oxygen saturation, 99%. Kelsey L.B.
