Abstract
Results of a study of a repetitively pulsed three-module electric-discharge DF laser operating on an SF6— D2 mixture are reported. It is shown that the optimisation of thecavity Q-factor, the pressure of the working mixture, and itscomposition, provides a 400-W output power at a pulse repetition rate of ~ 10 Hz.
