Abstract

A pulsed magnet was constructed which will give a magnetic field of approximates 200 kgauss over a volume of approximates 120 cm/sup 3/ with a variation of less than 3% and almost constant during the time of a proton burst. The measurements and calculations are discussed with respect to the requirements, and possible improvements are proposed. (D.L.C.)
