Abstract

PREFACEIt is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 9th International Conference on Environmental Science and Development (ICESD 2018) which was held in HOTEL NOVOTEL PARIS CRETEIL LE LAC, Paris, France during 7-9 February, 2018. ICESD 2018 was dedicated to issues related to Environmental Science and Development.I, Prof. Miklas Scholz, from Faculty of Engineering, Lund University, Sweden, held the keynote speech with title “Wetland Systems Used for Flood and Diffuse Pollution Control: Integration of Hydro-environment, Energy and Decision Making”. Prof. Khalil Hanna from Graduate Engineering School of Chemistry of Rennes, France had a keynote speech with title “Implications of Fe chemistry in environmental processes”. Prof. Slav Hermanowicz from University of California at Berkeley, USA, held the keynote speech with title “Will Water Be the ‘Oil of the 21st Century’? A quest for sustainable water management?”. Prof. Susan Richardson from University of South Carolina, USA performed the keynote speech with title “Emerging Environmental Contaminants in Water: State of the Science”.
