Abstract
Due to the immediate need for an effective vaccine for Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, we propose to develop lentiviral vectors for genetic immunization against HCV. Our approach consists in the design of lentivectors expressing clusters of HCV proteins combined with co-expression of immunostimulatory molecules to potentiate high levels of immune responses against several HCV epitopes.
