Abstract

According as the domain of mathematics from ability indexes in the nine-year integrated of junior high school's stage of school-based curriculum integration. The teaching materials is based on the theory of the plate tectonics-form the earthquake. The researcher designed 「Reverse Fault of the 921 Chi-Chi Earthquake」 curriculum module and to use as our school is a earthquake attribute in the disaster area. To sort the curriculum module designing and to emphasize nine-year integrated curriculum objective of the studying style and thinking model. To base on the three suggestive directions of curriculum integration from ability indexes 1. domain integration. 2. across domain integration. 3. life integration. By the domain of mathematics and natural & technology composed ability indexes of integration. To pass through the curriculum thinking, curriculum objective and curriculum outline. Used the skills of science processes to proceed inquiry teaching and accomplished the model design. At the end, by way of diagnostic style to evaluated the teaching efficiency.
