Abstract

Pancreatic ducts (PD) can rarely get completely obstructed/disconnected from the intestinal lumen. This can occur in the native pancreas due to thermal injury at a prior sphincterotomy or post-surgically at a pancreatico-luminal anastomosis. With complete closure i.e. dead-end ducts, one has limited endoscopic options & surgery is associated with significant morbidity. We describe treatment of dead-end ducts, with EUS-guided rendezvous.
