Abstract

Interventional radiology (IR) interventions have become increasingly more utilized in the medical field. Common gynecologic indications for IR include tubo-ovarian abscess drainage and uterine artery embolization. We present a case of a 10 year old female with an obstructed Mullerian anomaly in whom IR trans-vaginal drain placement was used to successfully assist in resection of a thick obstructed hemi-vaginal septum (HVS).
