Abstract

Lichen sclerosus (LS) is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis that is associated with bladder/bowel pathology in postmenopausal women. Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) have higher prevalence in adult women diagnosed with LS. There are few studies examining the relationship between LUTS and LS in premenarchal girls. We aim to characterize baseline characteristics, clinical presentation, and progression of LUTS in prepubertal girls diagnosed and treated for LS.
