Abstract

This paper describes deformation behavior in small punch test (SP test) by FEM analysis. A purpose of this study is to get the basic property of SP test to apply it to small punch creep test (SPC test) and analysis. In recent years, SPC test receives attention in Japan instead of usual creep test. SPC test is an experiment method with ball punch and disc specimen which keeps giving constant load to a disc specimen through a ceramic ball. While SP test is an experiment method with ball punch and disc specimen which keeps giving constant displacement to a ball punch. Analysis objects are several disc specimens made of Type 304 stainless steel which is used well at high temperature plant. This analysis carried out in room(20℃) and high(550℃) temperature.
