Abstract

The stator and frame of a solid structure and a divided structure were modeled, and the numerical simulation was performed using the general-purpose structural analysis program ANSYS. In two structure models, the vibration characteristics transmitted to the frame through the stator were compared based on the numerical simulation. The followings were obtained. (1) When the order of vibration mode becomes higher, the maximum velocity of the frame of the divided structure is smaller than that of the solid structure. (2) The smaller the spring constant between the frame and teeth is, the smaller velocity of the divided structure is. On the contrary, the displacement is constant even if the spring constant are changed. From (1) and (2), the divided structure has an effect on a noise reduction.
