Abstract

Aim The aim of this round table is to provide an overview of important recent insights and developments in the domain of health literacy research and policy in Europe. The implications for research, policy and practice will be discussed with the audience. There will be five short presentations: 1. Quick scan of health literacy developments in Europe in the past five years. Key messages: Health literacy is an important public health asset. Health literacy policies should be targeted at different levels and areas of society.
