Abstract
The acute effects of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) on liver function tests has not been objectively described. This study aims to formally characterize the temporal evolution and clinical impact of hepatobiliary lab toxicities after TIPS to provide a framework for the expected acute phase hepatic response to TIPS and association with mortality.
