Abstract

There is an increasing evidence base for pediatric delirium in intensive care settings. Translating what is known to real-world clinical settings can be accomplished by implementing interdisciplinary workflows. A clinical pathway for pediatric delirium has been previously described. Here we will share practical aspects of implementing the clinical pathway in a pediatric intensive care unit (ICU) and lessons learned.
