Abstract
Crystallization of fine-grained, early diagenetic dolomite and later coarse dolomite has occurred in Sr isotope equilibrium with Devonian sea water ( 87 Sr/ 86 Sr = 0.7082). Extraction of radiogenic Sr from silicates in the metal source sediments by mineralizing brines.--Modified journal abstract.
