Abstract

Perovskite nanocrystals are outstanding materials for color conversion in all wide‐color gamut display architectures. Due to their unrivalled color purity, conversion efficiency and optical density, they are particularly attractive for in‐pixel color conversion. In this contribution we demonstrate that perovskite nanocrystals can achieve exceptional optical performance in non‐patterned acrylate films. To make these materials available to display manufacturers, we have developed photoresist formulations compatible with production lines used to make color filter arrays. The patterned films show excellent homogeneity and resolution which, when combined with good stability, make perovskites the materials of choice for emerging display architecture.
