Abstract
Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and uncontrolled diabetes have been recognized as prothrombotic states. Central venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is an extremely rare complication of DKA with a highly variable clinical presentation. CVST can mimic cerebral edema as a cause of neurological deterioration in hyperglycemic emergencies.
