Abstract

Statin use remains suboptimal among individuals with indicated conditions. Facilitated relay (FR) is a quality improvement strategy where clinical information is collected from patients and transmitted to providers by a means other than the existing medical record. It has been shown to enhance guideline concordant care in some contexts. Our objective was to explore the perspectives of patients and family physicians regarding interventions to increase statin use, including receiving feedback on a proposed FR intervention.
