Abstract

Identify proteins that co-immunoprecipitate (coIP) with VEGFR-2 (KDR) and by their association could affect its signal transduction pathway that regulates placental vascularization and fetal growth. Since KDR synthesizes dinucleoside polyphosphates (Jankowski V. et al.) which activate purinergic receptor P2Y2 known to regulate vasculogenesis, vascular tone and inflammatory responses, we sought to test if P2Y2 coIP with KDR.
