Abstract

Oklahoma has strict laws surrounding access to contraception for minors. Minors under the age of 18 years must be married, have a dependent child, be emancipated, independently supporting themselves, or previously pregnant to consent to contraception. With the adoption of the Parents’ Bill of Rights in 2014, confidential care of adolescents in the state of Oklahoma was threatened.
