Abstract
AbstractQuantitative Analysis is discussed at length in text books and articles. Statistical Process Control (SPC) articles address how you apply these principles, but real‐world application is the ultimate challenge. This paper describes tools, techniques and methods used to institutionalize Quantitative analysis in a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 environment.General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Mission Systems achieved CMMI Level 3 rating June 30, 2004 using the CMMI‐SE/SW/IPPD/SS, V1.1, staged model.The goal: achieve a CMMI Level 5 rating before the end of 2005.
