Abstract
With a sensitive space-charge-limited diode ionization detector, we studied 8–10sς, 8–10dς 1Σ+g, and 10–15dπ 1Πg Rydberg states of Na2 and obtained their molecular constants for the first time. It is the first successful example of a diode ionization detector that is used in a pulsed OODR molecular spectroscopy experiment.
