Abstract

Both bacterial vaginosis (BV) and shortened cervical length (CL) have been associated with preterm birth (PTB). Since BV can be diagnosed using a Nugent score (≥7) or high vaginal pH (≥5), our aim was to determine if Nugent score or vaginal pH was correlated with CL in women at increased risk for PTB.
