77‐4: Highly Efficient Side‐by‐Side Three‐Stack Tandem Flexible OLED Displays with Yb‐doped n‐CGLs

Abstract

We have succeeded in developing highly efficient side‐by‐side three‐stack tandem flexible OLED displays with Yb‐doped n‐type Charge Generation Layers (n‐CGLs), whose white current efficiency is up to 2.2 times as high as that of single OLED. The three‐stack tandem OLED display shows 1800 nits in full white with a polarizer. We found that the optimal combination of electron transporting material and metal as n‐CGL exhibits appropriate conductivities through EOD evaluation.
