Abstract

The skin vasculature ensures local homeostasis and plays an essential role in inflammatory skin diseases. Tortuous and dilated skin vessels are one of the hallmarks of psoriasis; however, how they participate in psoriatic pathogenesis remains unclear. Here, we profiled the single-cell transcriptomes of vascular endothelial cells (ECs) from healthy and psoriatic skin and discovered heterogeneity of psoriatic ECs in signaling pathways and immune responses. Pseudotime analysis demonstrated that capillary EC subsets in psoriatic skin were highly activated.
