Abstract

Although right ventricular dysfunction (RVD) has identified high risk patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), well-developed indexes are either clinically cumbersome or subject to inter-observer variability. We hypothesized that tricuspid regurgitation (TR), often correlated with RVD, would be an important predictor of event-free survival in patients with refractory Stage D heart failure.
