Abstract

Partnering with young people in research can enhance the success and sustainability of interventions. We partnered with young adults and librarians to develop the Better Together (BT) intervention. BT is an age-appropriate, culturally relevant, library-partnered intervention designed to prevent substance use among Black youth affected by household challenges (ie, parental drug use, incarceration, or mental illness). This presentation describes the process used to develop and assess the acceptability of BT.
