Abstract

Criteria for fetal growth restriction (FGR) vary in practice; estimated fetal weight percentile (EFWp) cut-offs are most commonly used. There is paucity of data on the value of fetal abdominal circumference percentile (ACp) as an alternate criterion. Our objective was to determine if ACp is as good as or better than EFWp at identifying newborns small for gestational age (SGA).
