Abstract

Cardio-pulmonary interactions play an important role in the pathophysiology of HLHS. Pulmonary vasculopathy has been identified at birth, especially in fetuses with a restrictive atrial communication. Responsiveness of the pulmonary vasculature to maternal hyperoxygenation (MH) may provide a tool to assess the degree of fetal pulmonary vasculopathy.
