Abstract
This paper describes the experiments of the torsional vibration control by the method of the wave control presented by the author [1], [2]. The wave control is conducted through the torque of the absorber which realizes the condition that the real vibration system is connected to the virtual vibration system constructed in the computer. The vibration energy is seemed to be absorbed into the virtual system. The experimental apparatus is consisted by the driving AC servo motor (300W), the wave absorbing AC servo motor (300W), and the torsional shafts with disks. The 266MHz personal computer is used as the controller and the sampling time is 3ms. The results of the experiment show our wave control method can be used in the actual system.
