Abstract

Eur J Echocardiography Abstracts Supplement, December 2006 Conclusions: In children, deep venous thrombosis was the result of the association between a thrombophilic factor (found in all cases), a vascular or cardiac anatomic anomaly and a precipitating factor. Doppler ultrasonography was the main diagnosis method, concordant with angio CT in the identification of all iliac veins anomalies, but not always concordant for inferior vena cava malformations.
