Abstract

Aspiration of reflux has been implicated in the pathogenesis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and the progression of bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome after lung transplantation. As the mechanisms responsible for these phenomena are unknown, we aimed to identify lung transplant recipients at greatest risk for aspiration and investigate associated factors.
