Abstract

This section aims to present the effects of acculturative stress and potential intergenerational cultural conflict on Asian American (AA) youths with eating disorders (EDs). We will examine the multiple factors that have contributed to the rise in EDs in AA youths. We will work on understanding the impact of acculturative stress and how culture may influence the manifestation of ED symptoms.
