Abstract
We present a novel high-speed 2-in-1 imaging colorimeter especially designed for the test applications and requirements typically found in display production lines. It combines the benefits of an RGB CMOS camera and a high accuracy spot colorimeter. Using the colorimeter as reference for the camera enables fast and precise characterizations of the whole display area with respect to luminance, chromaticity, contrast, or uniformity. In addition, it offers the typical spot colorimeter functionality as flicker measurements or the adjustments of white balance and gamma.
