Abstract

Diagnosing catatonia in children and adolescents remains a challenge, especially when these patients have neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). A review of the process of diagnosing catatonia in individuals with NDD will be presented, along with a discussion of the obstacles to providing ECT when indicated.
