Abstract
This book deals with the behavior and design of concrete-filled double skin tubular (CFDST) columns with the aim of expanding their understanding. Accordingly, the main objective was to provide a single book containing the recent advances in the development of these columns. This book shows different design procedures for CFDST columns using different lengths and materials. In addition, this book has extended to provide the effect of using rubberized concrete in forming columns. Furthermore, a few chapters have included the behavior of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) columns and concrete-filled double-tube (CFDT) columns for comparison purposes with CFDST columns. This chapter describes the main recommendations of this book. Additionally, further works required to unveil the behavior and strength of CFDST columns are provided.
