Abstract

Although the Child/Adolescent Anxiety Multimodal Study (CAMS) trial demonstrated the efficacy of medication, CBT, and combined treatments for child anxiety, remission is often difficult to achieve in the short term, and longer-term relapse is relatively common. The objective of this presentation is to review factors impacting treatment response for anxiety and to demonstrate how they can be used to inform clinical decision making that leads to more robust therapeutic outcomes.
