Abstract

PrefaceThis book contains the papers of the VI International Conference Current issues of continuum mechanics and celestial mechanics – CICMCM’2016 held in Tomsk (Russia), November 16–18, 2016. The first conference was organized in 2010 within the framework of the Second All-Russian Festival of Science at Tomsk State University. More than 750 researchers from scientific organizations of Russia, Algeria, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Canada, Germany, Serbia, France and Kazakhstan participated in the conference since its foundation. Almost all National Research Universities of Russia, including Russian Federal Nuclear Centers were represented. Previous papers were published in Proceedings of Tomsk State University and Tomsk State University Journal of Mathematics and Mechanics. The conference themes addressed novel and advanced topics on Continuum Mechanics and Celestial Mechanics with focus on gas mechanics, hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, elasticity theory, plasticity theory, deformable solid mechanics, mechanics of heterogeneous and functional materials, movement of bodies in space, liquid and gaseous media, strength, survivability and destruction of materials and structures, technical mechanics of living systems, multiscale structure and texture and ballistics. The organizers of the conference were Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics and Faculty of Physics and Engineering of Tomsk State University. There are good reasons to believe that the conference fulfilled its goals. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the authors and all reviewers for their generous efforts.A sincere thanks to all participants, sponsors and institutions for their great support towards a successful CICMCM’2016.Special thanks to the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the local committee of the conference. We are always glad to see you at Tomsk State University.Editor-in-ChiefMaxim OrlovTomsk, Russia, 2016
