Abstract

Criteria for matching potential recipients with the appropriate donor are based primarily on blood group compatibility and patient size. However, several other risk factors such as gender, HLA, medical condition prior to transplantation and duration of ischemia may influence outcomes. This study aim to develop an individual prediction model for long-term survival and simulate outcomes using different recipient-donor characteristic combinations.
