Abstract
32 inch TFT-LCDs having viewing angle contrast ratio over 300:1 within 160 degrees and having normalized blurred edge time of less than 10 ms have been developed. A new optical compensation film and driving method have achieved this high performance. LCD-TVs using those advanced IPS-Pro technology will be produced in IPS-Alpha line with the 6th generation facility.
