Abstract

Central airways stenosis following lung transplant has been attributed to chronic ischemia of the large airways, however little is known about airway perfusion in the early post-transplant period. We examined airway oximetry and expression of genes associated with hypoxia in the bronchial epithelium in the 1st mo after lung transplant and correlated these findings with clinical outcomes.
