Abstract

Adolescence is a period of rapid physical, emotional, and social development. Factors influencing whether sexually active teens engage in protected intercourse may change as they mature. We explored whether predictors of any contraceptive use at last sex (condoms, hormonal contraception or both) differed by age among a sample of African-American adolescents.
