Abstract
AbstractScanning backlight using LEDs is a standard approach to realize field sequential color LCDs with high resolution. There are certain contradictory constraints such as optical isolation of blocks and required light leakage over the isolation. A design scheme to solve those problems is discussed along with our developed field sequential color LCDs.
