Abstract

Training pediatric resident physicians to screen patients for HIV risk factors and discuss pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is essential to expanding the availability of PrEP to adolescents at risk for HIV. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the PrEP curriculum through pre and post questionnaires, identify knowledge gaps, and determine areas for modification in future versions of the curriculum to enhance PrEP knowledge.
